Safety Analysis & Safety Basis Documentation/Implementation

OMICRON has outstanding experience and expertise in the preparation, review, and implementation of safety basis (SB) documents for nuclear and nonnuclear facilities throughout the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) complex and nuclear power industry. This experience and expertise led to OMICRON being selected to manage nuclear safety (including safety basis documentation) for the Nevada Test Site (NTS) on behalf of National Security Technologies, LLC (NSTec). OMICRON personnel have been heavily involved in the development and review of many DOE Standards, Guides, and Handbooks. Our personnel have prepared or participated in the preparation and implementation of more than 100 SB documents throughout the DOE complex, and in the review of equivalent number of SB documents on behalf of DOE/NNSA. Examples of this experience are provided below.
